It really doesn't sum up anything Eerie. That's just your excuses. Stupid people continue paying to go to games they then spend weeks moaning about.
Yes I'm a fan too but I live overseas and haven't had a season ticket for all that time but still occasionally get to games. I dislike the style as you do too but I am a glass half full and you're a glass half empty kind.
I know that the style will improve if we get a few decent players in to play better. If and when that happens you will still fucking moan along with Miike Takagashi.
Like it or not we are stuck with Moyes and Sullivan. Both have huge downsides but they both also have upsides. Sullivan does eventually spend and Moyes will improve performances from last season is how I see it. But you will carry on happily moaning because it's what you do...

the system doesn't work, we lost twenty league games last season. you can't rely on luck to succeed in this day and age, there are too many decent teams

The fact you're asking why we go to games sums up exactly why you're not an actual West Ham fan.

Eerie & Side No-one is saying that Moyes is good for WH. Most would change him for someone better but are you sure that would happen? He's what we are stuck with until the end of this season so we support him while his system works..
The stadium is full and we have started to win things under Moyes for the first time in donkey's. If you don't like it why pay for a season ticket?

Well done you for getting to those games Virginia but ED gets to moan like fuck because he's committed to the full time dross of not having the ball in games against lowly teams that you probably wouldn't book the long journey for is what I'm getting at.....the slog is the commitment to week in week out making the whatever journey in whatever conditions to watch the other team have the ball.......that is a grind.......whereas you would probably admit are buzzing to get here to see family, friends and a bit of West Ham......when you live something more as an everyday occurrence you see where things could be a lot better.....our low possession is a means to an end where it should be only used against teams that can out play us.
Moyes uses it all season round......

Let's be honest, if one of our rivals played the style of football we do, say Spurs, we would give them absolute fucking pelters for it. Stoke got absolutely cunted by all and sundry for their style of play, but at least they were fucking attacking.
I genuinely think the way we play is a crime to football. Sunday was like a training session defence against attack, and the team doing the attacking have been a disjointed mess for a long time now, hence finishing in the bottom half of the league last season.
It's a sad, sad day when West Ham fans are happy to watch us play like that in a home game against a big rival. That's 10 times worse than Allardyce. Yes, we got a very, very lucky win, and I celebrated that with everyone else, but when the dust settles, you won't get lucky often playing that filth, especially against well organised settled teams.

Manuel - Seats are better can see who's who know.. Don't lose the ball as much.. Harder to see the other end cause lower down.. Row 28 and just have 4 steps to go down and the bars and toilets are there which is a bonus... Only problem is because they're so close every cunt is up and down every 5 minutes, nobody could be arsed in row 67 was like climbing a mountain.. :-)

fraser - Good to hear you were buzzing on leaving, I do miss that. How were the new seats?
I do actually believe Moyes wants to play more attacking, possession based football, he has alluded to it a few times now, and also has to be fully aware of all the flak that he gets (obviously the oppo on the day come into it too) I know there is the argument that he doesn't know how to, but I'm not convinced on that, so we will have to see if and when and if we get these attackers in, but it's hard to imagine and accept another whole season like we witnessed on Sunday, even if we did win. If that pen had gone in I'm sure we would have lost, and maybe heavily, and the VIBE right now would be dreadful with Brighton next.

Moyes tactics worked and won the game, most were expecting those tactics and expecting us to lose, because that's what normally happens.
After the game I was totally elated and left the ground buzzing. But the 90 minutes was hard to watch, for me it's not enjoyable defence against attack. Like I said going a man down didn't change our tactics as we had played like that as soon as we'd scored.
Yes they've spent a lot, but so have we and we shouldn't be approaching these games like we're a lower league team.

I've rarely seen such a conflict of opinions after this game, some are saying it was a total disgrace, anti-football etc, to we played really well and fully deserved the 3 points.
It's all a load of old cunt at the end of the day, opinions, aresholes, etc.

I'm not saying Eerie isn't entitled to his opinion, but losing the plot and his shit all at once, added to buckets of moaning isn't particularly grown up.

We shouldn't settle for Moyes because he won a trophy we were a favourite for.
No more than we should play a player that was good in previous years.
I think the clubs biggest issue is the direction of the club. I don't think Moyes suits what we need to improve on the ECL trophy.

It’s simply not a good enough attendance to knock someone who fully commits to whole season…..he is more than entitled to expect to see West Ham have more of the ball….you are entitled to cherry pick the games you fancy….

"Or would you rather watch us get tonked regularly, sack Moyes and then bring in someone else and have an even bigger fuck up on our hands.
It's the ultimate stick or twist."
That sort of shit ain't even worth a response. No offence, but you haven't got a clue about football.
